I just post one of the hundred edns of the "Unique item" book by Milorad Pavic. It is not neccessary my choice of the end of the book though... I just like the meaning, I will try to make a rough translation here:

"Do you know what is this egg, the egg yolk is the dream while the egg white is the reality. The dream is fed with our reality until it is strong enough to break the shell and fly away."


"- Скъпи госпидин старши следовател, знаете ли вие какво е това яйце? Жълтъкът е сънят, а белтъкът явето. Сънят се храни с нашето яве и когато заякне достатъчно, счупва черупката и отлита."
